2020 YEAR IN REVIEW champions ALL It was a year unlike any other.... GOLFER STERLING FARMS2 STERLING FARMS GOLFER | CHAMPIONS ALL 2020 THE YEAR IN PICTURES It was a year unlike any other, as golfers took to the Sterling Farms fairways on January 1st with great anticipation. In just a matter of weeks things would change in unimaginable ways, as COVID-19 engulfed the world. Sterling Farms golfers forged ahead, re- luctantly reigned in by a mandated course closure that temporarily halted an onslaught of increased demand. The golf raged on, but those us who were CHAMPIONS ALL 2020 | STERLING FARMS GOLFER 3 2020 negatively impacted could only do so much, and if we survived, it was pure luck. While many of us dodged the virus' bullet, some did not. The absence of im- agery−in February, March, April, November, and December−a result of an unforeseen abundance of trials and tribulations that turned ordinary life upside down on its proverbial head. As we bid farewell to a disturbing 2020, hope better days ahead follows. 4 STERLING FARMS GOLFER | CHAMPIONS ALL 2020 THE YEAR IN PICTURES CHAMPIONS ALL 2020 | STERLING FARMS GOLFER 5 JANUARY 2020 FLYING HIGH It was just hours before that NYE revelers were partying hard in Times Square. It was the start to a year filled with high hopes, and on January 1st, 2020, Sterling Farms golfer Jake Johnson was focused solely on playing this pitch shot onto the 6th green. The feisty 12 handicapper had previously flubbed his first attempt, but this 2nd wound up a gimmie.6 STERLING FARMS GOLFER | CHAMPIONS ALL 2020 THE YEAR IN PICTURES FROST BUSTER It was a chilly day, the 1st of Jan- uary, and golfer Drew Teichman was playing his 4th shot when I snagged him in action. A playing partner of Jake's, Drew braved the cold marvelously, and was excited about 2020. Johannes was in the same group as Jake Johnson, and Drew Teichman. On the opposite side of the world, pro-democracy protesters were taking to the streets of Hong Kong in mass demonstrations. Thank heavens Johannes was at the Farm.Next >
